Home Information Pack

TERMS & CONDITIONS
By commissioning a Home Information Pack, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (Homefast property Services have the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time. You will be subject to the terms and conditions in force as soon as your order for a Home Information Pack to be compiled has been received):
1. COMMISSIONING A HOME INFORMATION PACK
An offer for the commission of a Home Information Pack can be made on our website, via email or over the telephone. A binding contract to supply a Home Information Pack will be formed upon payment of the relevant fees and work on the compilation of the Home Information Pack has commenced.
2. PRICE AND PAYMENT
Unless expressed otherwise, the Hip Fee will exclude VAT at the applicable rate. The price of the Home Information Packs will be that quoted by you in the supplier notes when commissioning a HIP or over the telephone and will be confirmed in writing via email. Payment for Home Information Packs may be made by forwarding cleared funds to us.
Where we have agreed credit terms, if you fail to pay us any sums when due, we may suspend the provision of, or access to, Home Information Packs/Authorised documents to you until full payment has been made.
If you have requested payment of the HIP to be deferred until the Deferred Payment Date then Homefast will arrange for an independent finance company to finance the HIP. Deferred payment option is governed by a separate third party agreement and their terms & conditions are deemed to be incorporated in this agreement, as well as the company’s terms and condition.
3. RIGHTS OF CANCELLATION
Prior to works beginning on the compilation of the Home Information Pack, you can withdraw the offer for us to compile the Home Information Pack, subject to an admin fee. After work has commenced, cancellations will not be possible. Cancellations must be made in writing via email. Homefast reserves the right to refuse to accept or suspend an order for the compilation of a Home Information Pack if it believes that it would not be reasonable to accept the order or continue compiling the Home Information Pack. The reason for the cancellation/suspension will be communicated in writing within 48hours.
4. LEASEHOLD/COMMONHOLD INFORMATION
You may incur additional costs in obtaining information to send to us for our inclusion in the Home Information Pack. An example of such costs might be in relation to Leasehold charges for obtaining copy of Lease.  
5. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION PROVIDED BY YOU
The Information you provide us will form part of the Home Information Pack. The Home Information Pack will be relied upon by third parties. You must ensure that all the information provided by you is factual, correct, accurate, complete and valid.
6. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THIRD PARTIES
Included in a Home Information Pack are documents that will be obtained from third parties. Homefast shall use all reasonable endeavours to obtain any such documents from suitably qualified and experienced third parties whom it believes to have the relevant degree of expertise and appropriate professional standing. Homefast can not be held liable for any errors/omissions in any such document or any delays caused as a result of late receipt of the documents.
7. INTELECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All intellectual property rights pertaining in our Home Information Packs belong to Homefast Property Services
8. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
Homefast will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of events outside our reasonable control.
